Salvador, Brazil

We only spent a couple of days in Salvador before we headed north to Rio, and I didn’t have a chance to take very many pictures. But I did learn something there that I’ll never forget.

While walking around the city, we saw a man humming a waltz and dancing by himself in the street. When we walked by (trying to act casual) he grabbed me. I was kinda freaked out.

But after a few seconds I was dancing right along with him, with my friends laughing and clapping. It was fun. And so I took away with me the mentality that life is way too short not to dance in the street.
