Hong Kong

These past few weeks have reminded me of how fleeting life can be, and I remembered an inscription that I saw this summer. The words were strategically placed at the entrance of a graveyard in Hong Kong. It was a place of peace snuggled into the corner of a bustling city, it was a quiet reminder of our mortality.

“Stop ye travelers as you pass by.

As you are now, so once was I.

As I am now, soon you shall be.

Prepare yourself to follow me.”
