I love India. I love places that are incredibley different from my own home. The bright red color of these buildings, the rainbow effect that happens when you have a crowd of Indians standing together, everything combines to create an experience.
Built in the 16th century by Emperor Akbar, Fatehpur Sikri only served as the capital of the Mughal Empire for 10 years. It
was abandoned afer the empire was forced to leave in order to fight a coalition of Afghan tribes, and he moved his capital
elsewhere. What a waste, right?
