Bangkok, Thailand

It is one of the most famous sites in Thailand. It is also the most sacred site, including the Temple of the Emerald Buddha amongst is many unique buildings.

And it glitters in the sun.

The Grand Palace is a complex of buildings at the heart of Bangkok, Thailand. The palace has been the official residence of the Kings of Siam since 1782. It features architecture and sculptures in the unique Thai style that is so easily recognized anywhere you see it.

Thailand is incredibly different from anywhere else in Asia. It was never colonized by a European power, so it remained independent and had the opportunity to develop and preserve it’s culture apart from other influences. As you can see, their architecture and sculpture are different from anywhere else in the world.
