Siem Reap, Cambodia

Angkor Wat is the main temple in the area, but there are many smaller ruins that are absolutely mysteriously beautiful. The humid jungle breaks down stone buildings faster than one can repair them, so the entire area is constantly changing. I like to capture the lesser known aspects of a place as well as the details that may be overlooked or forgotten with time. Here are a few of the smaller temples scattered around the area as well as some detail shots of the reliefs I found most interesting.

*These pictures were scanned from film originals, so the quality is less than ideal.
