Just Outside Zion National Park, Utah

It’s getting to be a real pain to go on a road trip. Every few miles I want to pull over and take a picture of something that catches my eye. The real problem begins when I decide to keep driving, and then I can’t stop thinking about what I saw and wishing I had pulled over to take the picture. A drive that would normally take 2 hours now takes at least 3!

That was the case for this picture. I looked over to see a herd of buffalo grazing far away in a beautiful field in Utah, and I just couldn’t help myself. I pulled over and took the picture, knowing that if I skipped this amazing scene I would have regretted it the whole way home…or maybe even longer!
