Monument Vally, AZ/UT

We woke up early to catch the sun as it crept up over the mountains in the distance. Our guide drove us to a lookout in the dark. It was so exciting not knowing where we were, not being able to see anything until the sun came up and revealed our location. But when it did, it came up fast. I had to keep shooting my camera and readjusting my settings quickly because every 2-3 minutes the scenery had changed. The colors deepened and the shadows got shorter or longer. These are the moments that I love being a landscape photographer!
